Brunswick Hills Township Town Hall is at 1918 Pearl Road, Brunswick, 330-220-8182. Why are there two Brunswicks in Medina County Ohio

Brunswick Township was established in 1818 and renamed Brunswick Hills Township in 1960, the year Brunswick incorporated as a village and then a city. The township's own police annual report says it was established by residents who preferred a township form of government. Population went from 4,057 in 1990 to 5,466 in 2000, 9,898 in 2010 and 11,196 in 2020. The township's comprehensive plan calls annexation by the City of Brunswick a recurring challenge that has shifted parts of the township into the city through development and utility service arrangements.
